End of KS1 Statutory Teacher Assessment Briefing (ENDKS1STBR160119) - 16th Jan 2019 - 09.30-12.30
The course aims to provide an update for Year 2 teachers who are familiar with the end of Key Stage 1 statutory assessments. Teachers will be briefed on current national statutory requirements with regard to testing, teacher assessment and moderation. The course will:
• familiarise teachers with the 2019 changes to the teacher assessment frameworks for mathematics, science and reading.
• review the 2018 writing framework (new that year) and look at implications of this revised approach for on-going assessment and curriculum planning.
• familiarise teachers with exemplification of standards in teacher assessment of writing to ensure accuracy and consistency of assessments.
• consider long term planning strategies to ensure effective preparation for end of KS1 teacher assessment.
Autism Postgraduate Certificate
A one year course, comprised of two Master’s level modules. Each module is formally assessed through a 5,000 word equivalent assessment. The assessments include: presentations, essays and portfolios of evidence from practice in the field.
You will gain a critical, theoretical and practical understanding of the diverse learning requirements of pupils and students who identify with the wide spectrum of autism. It is designed to enable the participant to develop a critical understanding of autism, relevant legislation, education policy and interventions.
The course content is informed by the experiences and voices of those with autism and our approach is underpinned by the inclusive principle “nothing about us without us”.
This course will develop your ability to analyse critically and build upon your own attitudes, professional experience and practice including the promotion of social justice, inclusion, and equity as a policy and a practice.
Lambeth NQT Induction Training 2018/2019 - Reading and Phonics
Training on how to teach pupils reading and literacy skills for those going through NQT induction in schools using Lambeth as Appropriate Body during the 2018/2019 academic year
